McMichael Sharpening
has 44 years of sharpening experience.  Family owned and operated, we started in 1976 delivering Sure Grind Clipper Blade Sharpening Machines nation wide for a gentleman named Willard Woods from Shawnee, OK. At the same time we were delivering those machines, we were also sharpening clipper blades all across the country.
We have mostly only offered our services to friends and family for the last 30 years. In 2019 we, once again, started to offer our sharpening services to everyone. We will sharpen any brand and any size detachable clipper blade. Please do not send barber clippers with the blade attached.
Our
wheel was made on a CNC machine in the mid 1980’s by my father. He
learned sharpening before he became a machinist and a manufacturing
engineer. Our unique sharpening wheel is the only one of its kind
anywhere in the world.
Clipper Blades
are cleaned, disinfected, demagnetized, SHARPENED, lubricated, adjusted (when
necessary), tested, and quickly returned ready for use.

This is a long shot, but if you happen to have or find an old business card for McMichael Sharpening from the 1970’s through the 1990’s, I will sharpen your entire inventory of clipper blades for free in exchange for the business card.
And I would love to purchase an old Sure Grind Machine if anyone has an original one.  I have included a photo of the Sure Grind Machine as well as an ad for the machine from page 199 of Dog World Magazine July 1976 edition.
Our superior wheel design allows us to sharpen your blades with 75% less metal removed from the clipper blade than the industry standard of .002 of an inch. That means that for every time a different sharpener sharpened one of your clipper blades,

could have sharpened it 4 separate times and the clipper blade would have lost the same amount of metal. That is a huge savings both in dollars and in the life of the clipper blade.
Removing less metal while sharpening also allows us to sharpen the Wahl 5in1 cutter blades.
