Here is a very nice authentic Confederate States war bond for $1000 and issued in 1863.   This has 8 of the original 10 coupons.  It is protected with clear plastic wrap and hardboard backing.  It is NOT glued or secured to the backing board.    This is a LOW issue number:  #776.    Please see pics for more details and judge condition for yourself.
